The Guamanian Club of Bremerton & Vicinity, founded in 1972, is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization committed to fostering closer communication, association, and relationships among Chamorro families in Kitsap County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Chamorro people. We strive to keep our traditions, language, and customs alive through community events, and cultural exchanges.
By engaging with our local community, we aim to share the beauty and pride of Chamorro culture, strengthen our collective identity, and ensure that future generations can continue to embrace and take pride in their heritage. Our club is dedicated to inclusivity, unity, and the values of respect, generosity, and family, which are at the heart of Chamorro culture. We invite you to join our membership and become part of our familia here at the GCBV. We are eager to share our culture, stories, and Chamorro pride with as many people as possible. If you're interested in partnering with us, please reach out—we would love to connect with you.
Our meetings are held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. every second Friday of the month at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Community Room (1150 Mitchell Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366).
